I would be afraid of disconnecting the synced items and losing them from the cloud. Even if I could find that option how do I know it would only disconnect this one PC. Similarly asking Help for "Advanced Sync Settings" draws a blank - I cannot find them, even though advisors say that is where I should be able to "uncheck boxes I don't want to sync".Or close/ disconnect from the account. Asking Help for Settings gets me nowhere (except how to reset my Personal Settings). To stop Google Drive sync on iOS& there are two ways. The only sets of 3 vertical buttons only offer Help and one other option which is not relevant.

Most advice centres around either (a) do it via the "Google Drive or little cloud Icon". I have spent days trying, unsuccessfully, to find out how to do this. So that I can wipe and sell on my OLD (only 2 yrs old) computer. I am trying to STOP ONLY my old computer syncing to Google Drive, Google Photos, G Docs (also M'soft OneDrive, dropbox) etc so that I can then delete/wipe my old computer WITHOUT deleting anything from the various clouds - to re-activate them on my NEW computer.
